Ayanna Lewis-Gruss, a senior associate in the New York office, is a member of the firm's Litigation Group.
Ms. Lewis-Gruss focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on insurance coverage disputes, issues of accountants' liability, and regulatory investigations. She has represented clients in state and federal court, in international arbitration, and before the Internal Revenue Service.
Before joining Orrick as an associate, she was a summer associate in the New York office in 2001.
As a member of Georgetown's Federal Legislation Clinic, Ms. Lewis-Gruss represented a non-profit organization in pursuing changes to federal domestic violence policy. While in college, Ms. Lewis-Gruss interned in the Washington, D.C. labor policy office of Senator Edward M. Kennedy.
