Background
Louise joined Orrick as a trainee in March 2010.
Why Orrick?
Orrick has an excellent reputation in a wide range of practice areas which means the work is interesting, varied, international and often high profile. I was really attracted to the prospect of working with colleagues and clients who are from a wide range of countries and based globally. The size of the London office and the trainee intake means that there is a real opportunity to get involved leading to really high quality training.
Orrick's application process attracted me to the firm as well. Attending an Open Day was a really great way to meet everyone, as it offered the opportunity to chat informally with partners, associates and trainees as well as taking part in activities to give an idea of the work the firm does and how a trainee would be involved. I came away with a really positive impression and the feeling that I had a much better understanding of the character of the firm and the opportunities it offers.
Personal Interests
Travelling, reading, socialising and getting better acquainted with London.
