Background

Sunay joined Orrick as a trainee in September 2008. Prior to joining Orrick, he spent a year travelling around Asia and gained work experience by internships in law firms in Shanghai and Kenya.

Why Orrick?

I chose to come to Orrick due to the position of the firm's London office. The London office is relatively small, but is part of a large international network. The result of this is that trainees are consistently given good quality work and high levels of responsibility on transactions. Furthermore, throughout the interview process, I got the impression that the firm had a relaxed and supportive culture. My time working here has confirmed my initial thoughts.
