I initially applied to Orrick due to its reputation as an innovative law firm which provides high quality training. I knew that Orrick took on a relatively small number of trainees and that this would ensure a high degree of responsibility during my training contract. I was attracted by the opportunity to work closely with colleagues on matters which would often have an international element to them.

It was also important to me that I worked for a law firm which offered a friendly, supportive environment. During the recruitment process, Orrick stood out from other law firms for this very reason. Everybody I met was very friendly and positive about the firm. I was happy to learn more about Orrick during the interview process and was delighted to accept a training contract and have the opportunity to complete my training with Orrick.

I enjoy going to the theatre, cooking, travelling and keeping fit.
