Background

Margarita joined Orrick as a trainee in September 2008. She grew up in Bulgaria, and studied law in Germany, Britain and the US. Prior to joining Orrick, she gained work experience in law firms and as in-house legal advisor in a construction company.

Why Orrick?

With a growing expansion into Europe and a truly multi-jurisdictional client base, I felt that Orrick had exactly the international vision and ambition that I was looking for. When I visited for an open day and throughout the interview process, I found the people inspiring and the atmosphere energetic and enjoyable. With a small-sized trainee intake and the chance of experiencing a seat abroad, I felt that Orrick could genuinely offer early responsibility, client contact and personalised training. My time at Orrick has exceeded my expectations.

Personal Interests

Painting, visiting galleries and exhibitions, listening to jazz, ballroom dancing, travelling and spending time with my family and friends.
