Led by New York managing tax associate Stephen Lessard and including Washington, D.C. tax partner Ed Oswald, the firm is representing several members of the military who are transgender to correct their military records to identify their correct gender. Steve co-authored a report through the National LGBT Bar Association on correcting transgender veterans’ discharge paperwork which led to the creation of this pilot project.
