Mitch Zuklie on Global-Local Balance in Orrick’s Culture

Orrick Chairman Mitch Zuklie discussed the balance between global and local in Orrick's culture in an article about how global firms are moving away from having a headquarters office.

The firm's West Coast heritage "is an important part of our culture, but more than half our board members at this point are outside of California," Mr. Zuklie said. "We very much want people in all of our offices to be out there coaching Little League teams and on the boards of organizations and be relevant in their cities," he added. "The firm can't be just about one state or community."

Mitch is also a Trustee of Bowdoin College, Chairman of the Board of the Wild Salmon Center and a Director of CalTrout.
