Ramon Galvan is a member of the firm's Banking & Finance group. He represents a variety of lending institutions in complex commercial finance transactions, both secured and unsecured, as well as workouts and restructuring transactions.

Ramon has a wide range of experience in financings involving Native American tribes and tribal entities, including financings for new casino construction projects and casino expansions, and serving as lead counsel for some of the largest tribal financings on the West Coast.

  • Ramon's recent representative transactions include advising the following.

    • A leading bank as administrative agent, lead arranger and sole book runner in connection with a five-year $950,000,000 senior secured reducing revolving credit facility for the design and construction of an expansion of an existing casino (including the addition of a new hotel tower and parking structure). The credit facility was provided to an Indian tribe. The collateral is the gaming assets and revenue of the tribe.
    • A leading bank as lead arranger, sole bookrunner, administrative agent and swap provider in connection with the restructure of $400,000,000 in senior secured revolving and term loan credit facilities involving a casino and condominium complex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
    • A leading bank as lead arranger, sole lead bookrunner, administrative agent, issuing bank and swingline lender in connection with $100,000,000 senior secured credit facilities (with a $50,000,000 increase option) for a public company to finance acquisitions and repurchase of its own stock, as well as other general corporate working capital purposes.
    • A leading bank as administrative agent, lead arranger and sole book runner, in connection with a three-year, $200,000,000 senior secured revolving credit facility to refinance certain construction loans and for working capital. The credit facility was provided to an Indian tribe. The collateral is the gaming assets and revenue of the tribe.
    • A leading bank as administrative agent, lead arranger and sole book runner, in connection with a four-year, $195,000,000 senior secured revolving credit and term loan facility for the completion of a new casino. The credit facility was provided to an Indian tribe. The collateral is the gaming assets and revenue of the tribe.
    • A leading bank as administrative agent, lead arranger and sole book runner, in connection with a three-year, $165,000,000 million senior secured revolving credit facility to refinance certain construction loans and for working capital. The credit facility was provided to the gaming authority of an Indian tribe. The collateral is the gaming assets and revenue of the gaming authority of the tribe.
