Mitch Zuklie, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Orrick, is a seasoned business and legal advisor. He counsels innovative companies at all stages, as well as their founders, boards, advisors and investors. He has been cited as one of the top ten Most Innovative Lawyers in North America by Financial Times and an "eminent practitioner" by Chambers.

Under Mitch’s leadership, the firm has pursued a strategy to be a leading advisor globally to three sectors: Technology & Innovation, Energy & Infrastructure and Finance. He has led the firm’s portfolio approach to digitization, including the transformation of its West Virginia operation into a center for analytics and innovation, the launch of Orrick Labs to develop customized technologies and platforms, and partnerships with market leaders. Financial Times has chosen Orrick as the Most Innovative Law Firm in North America three times in the past five years, first runner-up twice and the Most Digital Law Firm of 2020. Mitch has also led the firm’s focus on talent retention and efforts to create a more inclusive workplace. Fortune has selected the firm among the 100 Best Companies to Work For five years in a row.

He serves on the Boards of Fisker Inc., the Leadership Council for Legal Diversity, the Berkeley Center for Law and Business, the Silicon Valley Law Foundation and the Advisory Boards of the Stanford Law School Center on the Legal Profession and the Harvard Law School Center on the Legal Profession. Mitch is also a Trustee of Bowdoin College, Chairman of the Board of the Wild Salmon Center and a Director of CalTrout.
