Amaury de Feydeau, Partner in Orrick's Paris office, is a member of the Banking & Finance group.

He specializes in project finance, real estate finance, structured finance and restructuring. His project finance experience includes advising on a variety of complex PFI financing transactions acting for public entities, arrangers and sponsors. He also has extensive experience in real estate financing, advising on a variety of complex French and pan-European property portfolio financing transactions including on their securitization aspects and restructuring.

Transactions

Amaury’s recent experience on closed transactions in project finance, PPP, infrastructure and concessions includes:

  • Advising the French State (the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy) for the new Marseille bypass, known as the “L2” or the “A507” PFI project;
  • Advising Allianz Global Investors, Bayern LB, BTMU and HSBC in the EUR 127 million financing of the City of Music PFI Project (a landmark “first-of-a-kind” securitised PFI transaction);
  • Advising Bouygues-led consortium of industrial companies and financial investors as project participants (and the related project entity as borrower), on the development through a PFI project of the 66,000 sq. m. new building of the Paris Civil Court known as the “TGI de Paris”;
  • Advising a NGE-led consortium of industrial companies and financial investors as project participants (and the related project entity as borrower), on the granting of the A150 motorway concession agreement (the latest motorway concession agreement granted in France);
  • Advising the Bouygues-led consortium, comprised of Thales, Exprimm, Sodexo, Dalkia, SEIEF, FIDEPPP and OFI NFRAVIA on the development through a PFI project of the French Ministry of Defence known as the “French Pentagone”;
  • Advising the Bouygues-led consortium of industrial companies and financial investors as project participants (and the related project entity as borrower), on the development of the Marseille soccer stadium.

Amaury’s experience in real estate finance includes advising arrangers and sponsors (including Benson Eliot, Blackstone, BNP Paribas, Citigroup, Colony, Deutsche Bank AG, EuroHypo, HSBC France, Lone Star, Metrovacesa, Natixis, RREEF, SEB, Société Générale, RBS, Westbrook on a variety of complex French and pan-European property portfolio financing transactions including on their securitization aspects and restructuring.

Amaury joined Orrick Paris in February 2007, after more than five years at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (during the initial two years in the Real Estate group and thereafter, in the Finance group, as a member of the Real Estate Finance team).
