A Day of Inclusion, Celebration and
Education
On Wednesday, November 14, 2012, Orrick will host our fourth annual "Dive/In"—a worldwide celebration of the different backgrounds and cultures that constitute the global community in which we practice law. As part of this celebration, we are hosting diversity and inclusion events in every Orrick office and for clients and friends of the firm in five cities across the country—each focused on a different view on diversity. |

A networking event followed by a

critical look at the long-running practice of "honoring"
Native American Indians by using them as mascots and nicknames
in sports and examines the issues of racism, stereotypes, and
the powerful effects of mass-media imagery. We will also be
joined by Orrick pro bono client, Nancy Rosales, owner of Neveria Abel 1950, a
minority women-owned premium organic ice cream company
