Hong Kong Capital Markets
Location: Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Two openings in our China Corporate Finance practice. One at 2 to 3 PQE level ideally with Capital Markets and M&A experience. Another one at senior associate level with substantial Takeovers Code experience apart from advising on HK public companies. The candidates should be Hong Kong qualified, particularly at the more senior levels, with strong Hong Kong IPO experience gained in China-related deals. Knowledge of the Hong Kong listing rules and compliance regulations is essential. A broader understanding of the Hong Kong capital markets business landscape is advantageous. Strong drafting skills at all levels and proven transaction management experience is required at the senior level. Candidates must be highly motivated and enjoy working as an active participant on teams and must have a high level of fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
Hong Kong Corporate General
Location: Hong Kong
Experience: Minimum 4-6 years
Midlevel to senior regulatory associate opening for our Corporate group in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate should be Hong Kong qualified, with at least 4 years relevant experience regarding advisory work on the Hong Kong securities and futures ordinance, licensing issues in relation to securities brokers, banks and funds. Experience in advising securities dealers and banks on regulatory compliance is needed. Having the experience of doing fund formation is a plus. Candidate must be highly motivated and enjoy in developing the practice. A strong academic background and training at an international law firm is advantageous. Apart from a high level of fluency in written and spoken English, Chinese language is preferred.
U.S. Corporate and Capital Markets
Location: Beijing, Hong Kong
Experience: Minimum 3–6 years
U.S. securities associate to join our U.S. Corporate and Capital Markets group in Asia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years relevant experience in China, including U.S. SEC-registered IPOs and Rule 144A/Regulation S offerings. He or she shall be U.S. qualified with a J.D. from a top-tier university, having trained and currently working at a leading U.S. securities law firm and have excellent technical skills. The candidate must have a high level of fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
